Shashtika Pinda Sweda (Njavara kizhi) is a treatment in which heating the bolus bags (Potali) while dipping in warm Ksheera Kashaya. These bolus are applied either locally or to the entire body depending upon the medical condition. The bolus will be prepared with Shashtika rice cooked in milk and Balamoola Kashayam (Sida Cordifolia Decoction).
